Trans America for Trips for Kids

       Welcome to my Trans America for Trips for Kids website. This summer I am planning on riding over 5,000 miles across the U.S., starting on the coast of Oregon and finishing in Boston, Massachusetts. My goal is to raise $10,000 for an organization called Trips for Kids.

            "Trips For Kids National provides the materials, moral support and inspiration that an individual or
       group needs to help disadvantaged kids discover the joy of mountain biking. Operating in the United
       States and Canada, we open the world of cycling to at risk youth through mountain bike rides and
       Earn-A-Bike programs. The more than fifty Trips For Kids chapters that we support combine lessons
       in personal responsibility, achievement and environmental awareness through the development of
      practical skills and the simple act of having fun."

       After I finish my cross country ride I will be starting a chapter of Trips for Kids in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. I will be working with the Arcadian shop in Lenox, Massachusetts to establish a program that will serve youth in the Pittsfield and Lenox area. Please browse the website to learn more!
